Just got my weekly update on my 17R (UMH of course, if you can call that an update :frusty: ).
I had inquired about an 18R (esp with rumors of DCT or perhaps the unexplained Voodoo update from UAW contract). I managed to get the only 16 and 17 R allocation from my dealer, so I was hopeful to get their 18 if there were improvements. Really wanted a newer gearbox.
He would not engage with me on that topic (even to put me on a waiting list cuz they require a deposit) until he heard about availability.
Here is his quote/rumor today:

First the disclaimers: nothing official and nothing in writing. The GT-350 and R cars will not be offered in 2018 as their replacements are in final testing.
I offer it up for what it is...just unconfirmed info for your cogitation. :ford:
