Im going to get on the preorder for the s550 jxb performance carrier bearing upgrade .Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about it ?

It definitely looks more robust than the factory one. If I were still running the factory ds, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it a try.

I'm going to order it today and give it a shot. I haven't found anything bad to say about them. They make them for quite a few makes and models too.

Definitely an interesting design and it’s good that the carrier inserts can be replaced too.

Just ordered one today and a new Spicer U Joint to change out also. My stock on is starting to have issues with my boosted car beating on it. Need it fixed before track day. I'll post pics when done.

I replaced the left and right side hub assemblies on my '15 GT hoping this would solve the scrubbing sound underneath. Both hub bearings were bad and needed to be replaced. However, I still have the scrubbing noise (center area between console and back seat) and figure the center carrier bearing is the problem. I need to study up on that.
So far the JXB carrier bearing seems to be the only replacement bearing available for the S550. I'll be following this thread to see what I can learn as this will be next on my to-do list.

They certainly found the most rusty driveshaft around...
