Hey everyone, I’m back to the Mustang after being without one for three years. Bought mine three months ago, I was looking mainly for an orange GT PP1, but found a great deal on this 22 Grabber Blue GT, CS, PP1 with 3k, so I went with it. Looking forward to talk to you guys and learn from you as I’m new to this platform. Owned 04, 05 and a 13 Boss 302 13 before.

Just joined here yesterday. I was formerly on other groups (SVT Performance etc) but recently purchased my first S550 Mustang- an Orange Fury PP2. Love the car so far although it's still cold here and I haven't really driven it since I got it other than a 10 min trip around the neighbourhood. I'm from Ontario and purchased the car from Quebec and had it shipped here. I really wanted a Mach 1 in either Fighter jet grey, or twister orange but couldn't justify the money! I knew very little about the PP2 cars until I did a bit of research. I stumbled across this one that was a loaded 401A car with leather Recaro seats. I love the color and figured I'd jump on it seeing that I'd probably have a hard time finding too many of these for sale- if any- with the color and options. I'm very happy with it so far and I'm doing a few tweaks to 'make it my own'. I already changed the low spoiler to the Mach/GT500 spoiler, added tint, black badges and ordered an Xpipe. Future mods will prob be Ford Perf springs to drop it a bit more, but honestly, I don't think for once, I'll mod this one too much! I also own a '92 LX in which I'm the second owner. It's mostly stock other than a few minor engine and suspension bolt ons. With the PP2 addition, I'll prob put it up for sale later this summer. I also have a '71 Trans Am which is in the midst of a dissassmble/refresh- restoration that will be coming home later this summer, so I only have room for 2 cars. I've had the TA now for over 27 years. My previous cars before these Mustangs were a heavily modded '11 GT500, '04 Screaming Yellow convertible GT, and two foxbodies- and '89 GT and '83 GT.

I'm back after a long Mustang-less 5 years, ugh. Sold my 2015 v6 in 2019 and now this year picked up a 2019 GT PP1 with all the options. SWEET car! Love it. I hope it wasn't abused by it's previous owner. Got it from Carvana, thought I'd try that experience, went OK.

Hey I'm Thed! Some (if any) willl recognize me from Motor Trend and Car Fanatics Forums. I am 18 and about to enter college here in NC. I currently drive a 1996 Ford Ranger and she is my pride and joy (her name's DeLone and you shall address her as such :p ). But, she won't last forever. Nah just kidding, she could. But I have some plans for the old girl and before I start, I need a new DD. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in the market for a new car by the time the 2016 model years will be coming out. That way I can get a late 2015 for nothing. :D

I have been a fan of the almighty Pony since before I knew what it was, because there was something about those Foxbodies that just clicked with my six0year-old brain. For the most part I'm a traditionalist, my Mustang will be a RWD manual V8 coupe. Anything else will not be considered. Not even a convertible.

So yeah that's a breif intro from me.

Also, admin(s), I volunteer to be a moderator. :p
Glad to join this wonderful community, I hope that this forum will help me to enhance my experiences and i’ll be always set to receive what forum gives. Can’t wait to start chatting with you here

Hi everyone! I recently picked up a 2019 GT/CS. Already had a 97 GT that is my weekend toy/auto-x car. Its getting too race car for the wife and dog. After considering a s197 I ended up with the S550 as the price wasn't too much more for a lot more car. I am loving the digital dash and active exhaust. Already did a resonator delete h pipe and RTR wheels.

2022 Mustang GT with Performance Package.
Hi folks. I just got my 22 GT Premium. No performance pack as Thailand seems to have it's own version with has nothing to do with performance. It seems they ah "forgot" to change the specs until a months ago. I'm a long time expat or as some of the later comers to Thailand would say sexpat. I have family over in Lao. Divorced from Thai wife.

So far happy with the Stang, only have a bit over 400 km. so far. I'll be having the performance pkg. put on piece by piece as needed and magaride, the roads here are not exactly smooth. I have the largest speed shop in Udon, called Udorn during the American war in Lao, to do aftermarket parts. Hopefully next fall as it "cools" I'll have it ready for the strip. Trying to stay basically stock and also run ET. Yes Thailand has dragstrips. Bangkok has the largest. No racing now, too hot, over 100F for a couple of weeks. This will be my last go round at 78 and I want back in the game while I am still good to go.

Hello to all!

Retired career LE, CJ, HRS professional. Worked for my State (MI) for 26 years, and contracted out to one or another division of DoS and DoD; in a variety of third world garden spots; on and off for 10 years after that.

1st car: 1969 SS396 Nova with the L78 solid lifter motor (because adjusting your valve lash every 2500mi is fun). 😆

2nd car: 1970 SS454 Chevelle with the LS6 solid lifter motor (didn't learn much from the Nova experience). 🤪

Fast forward: Just traded my 2016 Focus RS in on Thursday 4/25/24, on a 2024 Red Tint Coat Mustang GT! I intended to order one through my local Ford Dealer but they told me build/delivery time was 6-8 months?! :curse: So I bought the one they had on the lot. I was going to order the RTC color anyway so that was cool, and I like the 10 spd DTC more than I thought I would. Really bummed it didn't have the Recaros, and there's no CD player! :curse:

Hoping to pick some great Mustang tips and tricks from you folks! 👍

Sure! Glad to help!

Honest officer! My foot slipped off the clutch (don't use if driving an auto!)

Say! Is that a Blackhawk gun belt? My cousin/son/uncle/niece uses one on their job with the fill in the blank PD/Sheriff's Dept. This is a distraction/diversion technique. You better be able to talk gear/uniform/gun smack like a Pro though.

Burst into tears and claim you're upset over death in the family /pet died/ the current prevalence of hunger in the world. World class acting skills required.

Urinate or vomit on yourself. DON'T! Get any on the officer!

Hi, Officer! Wiley Marmot said to tell you I'm a close personal friend of his!

Do you know who the :curse: I am?! Be cautious using this one as it's definitely a "Monopoly Response". e.g. Improperly employed; you'll go straight to jail, you won't pass go, and the only $200 involved will be you making bail (maybe)!

Recently retired, I’m thinking of getting an inexpensive steed for track days. 25 years ago I did numerous track days on two wheels, but maybe my bones are a little too brittle for that at age 69. :frown:

Please do share your hints for cheap 4-wheel fun on asphalt in the vicinity of Charlotte, NC. My last 20 years have been totally consumed with career/wife, but I am free of both now 😁 so am trying to get up to speed on what’s what in the pony car arena these days. Maybe I’m better off buying a beater Miata and running it at Carolina Motorsports Park? But I definitely prefer the sound of a throaty V8!

FWIW, I grew up on a farm in northeastern Pennsylvania, maintaining Farmall Ms, etc. and welding up a go kart frame to fit a Honda 160 at age 14. I worked as a boilermaker/welder for 10 years after high school and then went back to college to get my mechanical engineering degree. At Cornell, with honors. 👨‍🎓

Don’t worry, from my blue collar years I clearly remember rightfully cursing all the stupid crap that the engineers did! And from my white collar years, I can tell you that in most cases, management made the engineers do it! 🤣

2016 V6 Base Convertible
Hello, about a month ago I purchased a black 2016 Mustang convertible base model V6. I've got a thread around here somewhere about upgrading the infotainment unit to an 8" Sync 3. It just needs to stop raining so I can start. There is also an impressive number of paint chips that will have to be dealt with. I don't think the prior owner took proper care of the car. It has what I assume to be an aftermarket exhaust system that is far too loud. I will have to see about taking that down a notch or two. This is my first Mustang, but not my first Ford. I've had 2 Fiesta STs and I also have a Lincoln.
