Looks to me like you just overpowered the rods. 18psi with c85 has to be close to 1000-1100hp, maybe more? Mine calculates out to 788hp @ 11psi on ms109.

Also at 18psi and 8000rpm how much power is the supercharger using, probably quite a bit. Hydraulic'ing a cylinder with that kind of load would at least have crushed the top ringland. You surpassed the load that rod was able to hold.

Dropped the heads, intake manifold and throttle body off with Scp-steve today for him to work his magic.

I think i'll do an actual build thread this time around.

I guess I've been lucky. I have been spinning 8k+ with 19-20# for 7700 miles on my PP car blew 2 manual transmissions. RIP.

And my 2017 auto for 1700mi. same boost & rpm no issues with the engines.
They both had Opg/Tg and ATI balancer.

I'm more worried about the Rod Bolts then bending a Rod. I still think he hydrolock bent them.

But I probably don't make the Dyno power you whipple guys do. :hail:

You said it not me.

I don't think there is any one reason I lost my motor. Probably a mixture of everything especially driving habits.

Any videos? What RPM do you shift at? Any idea what kinda power the car is making? I saw another video of a guy spinning 9K with opg, tg, and valve train upgrades. Kinda crazy to me.

I've never dyno'd mine, that was just a guess between mph and weight at the track (3970 @ 135.3mph). Yours shows 978hp, which I imagine is pretty damn close to the limit of a stock bottom end. We all know when you are close to the limit, it doesn't take much of anything to go past it. Especially with a manual transmission car.
