I still have it, all stock now. It will be traded in on the Shelby as long as other finances work out.

I went down the strip 4 times total, but that car was never set up for the strip. Ran a best of 12.1 on air ride with full weight (inc 34lbs sound system lol).

I have a few plans for the GT350 too, although the purists may be disappointed

Ouch! 10 months +/- from order to delivery? That would put my delivery out to July. If the order banks open for the 2017s before I get my '16 I'm gonna try to cancel my order and order a 2017. I realize there probably won't be much, if any difference but given the choice I'll take the newer MY.

Don't use my experience to judge how yours turns out. I refused delivery on the first one that came in Dec. 3, because of so many problems with the car. It seems like Ford is really moving now to get the 2016s out.

Ordered 11 November. Notified today build range is week of 7 March, yeah. :cheers:

Now the wait really starts. From what I have read here, and I have read all posts, it seems at least a month later on average for car to be scheduled for delivery pending any holds. Shorter delivery times if all goes well. I am okay for an April delivery, spring will be here.

On order: 2016 GT359, Oxford white, technology package, and blue stripes. Can't wait to join the club. Safe travels all.

How did you order your car before the order banks opened last year?

A long-time relationship with the dealer - plus I was in the salesman's office, deposit check in hand, within 10 minutes of the time the ordering guides were released to dealers. He gave me a handwritten order form stating MSRP, had me sign it (like I'd ever run from that deal!) and the DORA and the rest of the paperwork followed as Ford ramped up the full ordering process. I never had any doubt they would live up to the deal.

Moved to Unscheduled Clean

Was just told my Q1 R allocation has moved to Unscheduled Clean from Material Hold. WooHoo! .....and its not Thursday (normal Ford schedule update day)

Sales guy said he expected a schedule date with this Thursday update. Been patiently waiting....OK maybe not patiently....but am now shocked mine may be moving along. :eyebulge:

Maybe there is hope for all those waiting on Rs. :ford:
