I'm at 22k+ miles in a year and a half. 4 of those months I was deployed and car was barely driven if at all. I absolutely love this car and take longer routes just to enjoy it. This car was far from an impulse decision. I literally spent 6 months looking at them online, looking at the last generations coyote's and how they were holding up, modifications that were available, etc. Cars are not an investment. Anyone that chooses to hide these cars away expecting them to hold their value just wasted their time and money.
3 weeks old 2000 miles, first week 1000 miles. If I keep her 70-75 mph I average 28-30mpg. Got this V6 to rack up the miles in style. Almost got the Eco, but if i got the Eco I would wanna mod the hell out of it. This is a pretty stock driver. i'll put 30-40K/year on her! I was using my 07 grand cherokee as my work/daily driver. It's retired at 180,000 miles for camping and snow duty only. I love going from 19 mpg to 28+mpg!!!! and the best part? Work pays the miles!!! So i pretty much got me a free V6!
56k as of a few days ago...! Summer miles are low since I "only" drive 34 miles each way to work. Once the semester starts up I will be driving 150+ miles a day.
Plan to do a major overhaul around the 100k mark. New suspension, brakes, etc. If I have the funds available at the time I will also do a coyote swap of some sort. Whether that would be a 5.2 crossplane crate or a standard 5.0 with a few 350 goodies I am not sure. Don't plan on buying a new car for the foreseeable future.
