The FRPP X “street” and Y “track” springs are linear. They have a helper portion that gives the rear springs a progressive appearance, but the usable spring is linear.

Hear it from the engineer who designed them (at 2:00):

Beat me to it...also the spring rates are similar to a GT350 without Magnaride.

StangTime definitely helped me make an informed decision. After reevaluating what’s most important, I’m leaning towards BMR’s minimal drop springs. I’ll obtain the same drop as the handling springs and retain a similar ride quality.
Thank you for everyone’s input.

To be honest if you go with the minimal drop go with the Steedas. They have a higher spring rate, thats one reason why I didn't go with the BMR minimal drop spring, I felt it was to soft for the drop.

Dave,

Dave, would you mind measuring the height from the ground to the fenders on your car? I do like the stance. I have the same wheels and running the same 275/40R19 tire size so wanted to replicate it. I just got my Bilstein B16s, but it seems to be way too low, so may need to get some spacers.

Just measured it. Fr 27" Rr 27.625". The rears are .5" taller than the fronts due to the tires as I have a staggered fitment. I like it as it gives me a very slight rake. The FR Track kit lowered the car.875" front and .75" rear for me.

Thank you David. I’m at about 27.25 in the rear. Would want to raise it up just a bit.

Try those Steeda spring shims. Remember its double of what the size is.

Purchasing minimum drop springs, Ford Racing Shocks and Struts and lockout kit.
Am I missing anything for proper installation? This is my first time lowering a vehicle and I want to ensure it’s done correctly.
Thank you for your input.

If you're going to do the installation yourself, you'll need spring compressors, or may want to buy the OEM strut mounts (they're fairly cheap) so that you don't need to at least take the old strut apart. May also want to buy the adjustable camber plates if you're already taking apart the front struts.

Further, the very first mod I did was adding the strut tower brace with the firewall brace and the lower K-brace, these all come on the PP car, and are missing on the base GT. That was a significant improvement to the rigidity and feel of the front end. All together those braces run about $300.

Luckily I’m starting out with the PP goodies.
And I will not be installing the components. Well beyond my capabilities!

After some additional research and speaking with a few vendors, I’m leaning towards the following:

BMR SP083 Handling Springs
Ford Racing Shocks and Struts
BMR Cradle Lockout Kit
BMR Camber Bolts
Good lineup. I went with the same only re-used the PP shocks/struts and went with the SP080 springs. Along with lighter (and bigger) wheels/tires, it completely transformed the car.

If I had to do it over again I'd have bought the FP shocks and struts along with camber plates and the rest of the parts to complete the strut assemblies, which would have saved me a fair amount of time. Pull out the old, put in the new. Compressing springs sucks.
