That Hamilton place is a rip-off.

Autoworld makes the Guard GT # AW225 and you can get them for about $70 on flea-bay. Not that $70 is much better for a typical die-cast car that would have been $25 just a few years back.

Ironically in the green that everyone wanted... a little too pricey for my tastes, but looks like the quality is pretty good! The detail in the interior is fantastic.

Yup. And it looks as good or better close up (judging from the pics in the OP's link) than the Hamilton for a fraction of the price.

That being said, I do like seeing multiple versions of something I like being available.

My wife got me the maisto at Sam's club for $20. The underhood and interior lack some detail. The part I like best about it is it's a base gtpp with recaros. Exactly like my car except the color

That's the same one I got for Christmas. It's great but keep an eye on the tread life of those tiny Pirellis. Mine are already worn and I keep my 1:18 scale cornering and acceleration to a reasonable amount. I think. Honestly its hard to read the G meter in the dashboard with a microscope.
