The bolts are zinc coated. They are one time use according to the service manual. But I don't see any reason why you can't reuse them. The front calipers have a bridge, they need to be removed to replace the pads.
For critical fasteners it's usually to prevent excess stretching of the bolts, precautionary measure in case they are over torqued the first time.

I understand that and agree. I myself replace them. But in reality they could be reused if as you stated were not stretched. No different then a lug stud.

I wouldn't sweat it. You'll be fine reusing them.
I reused mine on my s197 because I didn't know certain bolts were 1 time use. But for $24/set after spending over $1000 for the calipers, thats cheap insurance.

Really no upgrade, just cosmetic. Will be costly in the long run to upgrade a GTPP

As I mentioned a few days ago regarding the GT350R Red calipers, they are cheaper then I expected. I was going to remove the calipers from my GT350 track pack and powder coat them but the R calipers are not that expensive and less down time. Here are the part numbers and list cost. Less if you get a discount at the dealer.

Front calipers:
FR3Z 2B120-G $344.37
FR3Z 2B121-F $344.80
Bolt kit W717394-S439 $24.00

Rear calipers:
FR3Z 2552-F $251.68
FR3Z 2553-F $251.72
Bolt kit W718407-S439 $12.00

They require a $50.00 core charge per caliper or pay the $200.00 I'm keeping my original GT350 black calipers and storing them.
Would I need to order 2 of everything, or do they come in pairs?

Why pay almost $1,000 for the red calipers? They are the same as the regular GT350's

You will need one of each caliper part number.
And 4 of each bolts.
You will also need 8 gaskets and 4 banjo bolts, unless you reuse your original banjo bolts. But new ones are cheap.

Thanks Voodooo. Does this shopping cart look good then to cover both the front and the back calipers? Also, if you have the part number for he banjo bolts and gaskets I would appreciate it very much.

The same reason spent $495 on stripes or $695 on a black roof, the red is a nice touch and removing the stock ones to get powder coated is still a few hundred $$ and puts the car out of commission for a week or two

Maybe this should be an option for the 2017 MY, as I am sure the difference in price between the stock and red calipers would only be a few hundred.

That being said, if it costs "only" a few hundred to power coat the originals, I would think the car would be out of commission for only a few days; not a few weeks.

Here's why I bought them.
1) They are a direct swap
2) No disassembly of calipers
3) No rebuilding or seals to buy
4) No waiting for powder coating
5) They are relativity cheap (compared to buying elsewhere)
6) I have a spare set! Although they are black/gray

That's assuming you have a good local company to do it, otherwise you will have to ship to one of the reputable shops to do it.

I don't see ford offering it as a factory option, it's one of the thing that differentiates the R

Voodoo did the right thing to retain the value of the car in the future. Additionally, you will at least get a 50% return on the calipers on the market if you ever sell the car and put the oem back on. The red ones can easily be sold.

I have rebuilt brembo calipers and it can get very expensive. For the price of these calipers from Ford, this is the best way to go If I were wanting to upgrade to red. Brembo does not sell the seals and pistons separately - you have to purchase them as a kit and each piston/seal can vary from $50-$100 if you happen to tear one of the seals. The pistons and seals must be removed, as well as the crossover line in order to powder coat properly.
