I'm sorry, after finding out who you are, I can't resist! My company has the wrong SE working with you and your staff. My meeting agenda:

How to continue scaling and ensuring network up-time: 60 minutes
Comparison of American FPC vs. Italian FPC: 30 minutes
Working lunch at MRLS
Final action items and lap time review: 30 minutes

Not joking now. Thank you for some really cool insight and sharing fantastic pics! Really hope to see more posts from you.

That sounds like a vendor engagement offsite I would need to attend personally. You know, to ensure... synergy... or something.

Hey I'm a Software Engineer. How do I get in on these "offsite engagements"? :)

I got the bagels and OJ. And some extra 5-30 and dot-4.

I'm pretty sure you guys are a client of ours (I think nearly everyone is for one thing or another), so I could probably find a reason for a "customer sat" visit. ;)

And I'm sure you wouldn't be satisfied until we worked some stuff out at the track.

If we are serious, I can ask my buddy about bringing out the AMG Gt. he works at Mercedes r&d center in Sunnyvale.

The engine's damn nice. It's got decent torque below 3500, but it's noticeably quicker above. Once it comes on cam at 3500 RPM, it pulls linearly all the way to redline at 8200. The motor is also super-smooth; it feels like it could just keep revving past where the electronics call a halt to the proceedings. This is going to be a great motor for the track where it's always on boil and where throttle response and predictable power are key.

And the sound - easily in my top 5 of all time. Raspy, loud, a unique blend of American V8 and Italian scream. Just superb.

Other comments - the R at any rate is clearly a track car first, street car second. The tires take time to warm up and develop grip, the spring rates are very high which makes for a bouncy ride on uneven asphalt. And it's all worth it when you turn into a corner at a fast clip, and the front end just shrugs and reminds you that you're nowhere close to slip angle. The R carries more speed into a corner than an Aventador. Really just nuts.
I'm sorry I guess I'm the flower on the wall.. I usually don't miss the read between the lines but this time I have.I know Ford people but I'm at a loss.
