so between the wing and the wheels the gt350r is CHEAPER than my GT!

WHAT A F'ING DEAL! TAKE OFF THE WHEELS AND THE WING AND SELL ME A GT350R FOR 20K THEN FORD.......i'LL BUY TWO OR THREE AND YOU CAN KEEP YOUR CF WHEELS AND WINGS!

i know right? just was telling my buddy how expensive the CF wheels are today.

Very skeptical of this, just don't see a wing costing anywhere remotely near this at all. The Cf wheels are said to cost around that much and the use a lot more CF in their construction and it would account for over 90% of the entire "R" package cost.

With the $30k CF wheels it looks like Ford doesn't want to be selling R parts unless you are willing to pay the ridiculous asking price; intentionally set to ridiculous to deter any possible buyer of the parts to tack onto their cars. It makes sense what they're intent here is.

I would highly bet that R owners will get them for true cost if not replaced under warranty. It may be a supply issue that they need the extras for R owners or a contractual issue that the contract says no outside sales except for R cars.

they also probably want to keep it exclusive to the 350R. its what makes the car unique. all the styling aspects of that car were probably worked on for years. also, Carbon Fiber can get very expensive depending on the quality.

I would trust somebody that has worked for ford for 25+ years.
also, if the above statement is true, then everything must be false. we live in a digital age and everything and anything is available through the internet.
