Getting a VIN what's the big deal?

So if the last four digits of my Vin # are 5576, this obviously means that Ford is making more than the 5,000 or 5,500 total units that's been discussed, right?

No - the VIN has nothing to do with the order built or the total number built. 30 cars were built the same day as my first GT 350, and the spread on the VINs was more than 900. The only number that matters is the chassis number.

Congrats, but it's just "VIN", not "VIN number". VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. Number is already there. It's like saying ATM machine.

I would say it's pretty close though. The last four seem to go with both the gt350 and 350R, I want to say it also includes international cars
