I suppose the rumored 100mm TB will be our power pack?
can't wait, expecting 30-50hp gain with 100mm TB.

Oh, the track key.... I remember reading about that last Christmas in the FP catalog. Still not out?I was chatting with a FP rep online this morning. He said there will be no "power packs" but indicated that the upcoming TracKey could provide a slight bump in power and improved throttle response. There will also be a FP exhaust and shifter coming.

Most tuners have come to the conclusion that the biggest bottleneck on the GT350 is in fact the throttle body. The 100mm FP throttle body is a part I'll be watching closely. Not quite apples to apples but Accufab's 84.5mm long neck throttle body on Coyotes routinely picked up 10 peak horsepower and a healthy dose of low end torque below 4000 without a tune. How the computer manages to figure that out without a tune like you would with a bigger intake, is beyond me though. Seems rather counter intuitive. Is this with a tune? I can't picture 40hp from a TB.
30-50hp gain?! Pass me w/e u smoked..I suppose the rumored 100mm TB will be our power pack?

Haha. I believe there's power to be had with a bigger throttle body for sure but 30 - 50? Yeah, I'm guessing fat snowball's chance in hell.30-50hp gain?! Pass me w/e u smoked..

Not apples to apples. 7500 rpm on a stock coyote torque is dropped off a cliff. With the intake manifold it allows the torque to be carried further throughout more revs.from FP release
M-9452-M8 - Power Pack 3 (shipping by 10-31-16)
Includes GT350 cold air intake with 87mm throttle body and GT350 intake manifold M-9424-M52
37hp and 5lbs/ft peak gains over stock
60hp gain at 7500rpm
Industry's only 50-state legal calibration with performance intake manifold
if the gt can gain 60hp just from intake, dont' see why we can't get 30hp from a larger TB.
That's a cold air and TB upgrade. GT doesn't come with a cold air like our GT350 does from factory. And it's highly likely that those gains are not WHPfrom FP release

Exactly. The Coyote doesn't even redline at 7500. 7000. If you do rev it up to 7500 by changing your rev limiter and not tune for it, your torque drops substantially and power dips well below peak. Gaining 60 crank horsepower at what would theoretically be the Coyote's power at 7500 is not necessarily mind blowing but effective nonetheless if you choose to spin it that fast. Not apples to apples. 7500 rpm on a stock coyote torque is dropped off a cliff. But a :ford: warrantied tune! :cheers:And a tune!
