Found this loose plastic part in my engine bay. Anybody know what it is?

Was checking my oil, and shined a flashlight down and saw in the ledge below the dipstick, there was a plastic cap sitting there. I picked it up and tried to see where it went, but I couldn't seem to locate where it could have gone. Looking inside the cap, it has the number "12" written inside.

It's probably that push-pin that secures the battery cover. All Mustangs have several of them loose somewhere down in the engine area. 😂

Have you had your car serviced? May be some cap for a tool.
