For those who removed their clutch spring w/o putting another one in, any long-term issues?

I heard that no spring is bad for the clutch and blah blah. Maybe it is? I removed it about 30,000 miles ago and so far it's good.
What's your experience been?

If you believe Steeda (who's trying to sell the spring).

It was $30 though. I put it on my car.

Have the Steeda spring installed and like it much better than the stock spring. Inexpensive upgrade. Never tried it without a spring at all.

Personally I doubt the weight of the pedal is enough to apply any meaningful force to the clutch hydraulic circuit

I pulled the spring the day I took delivery, over nine years ago.

Zero issues.

How has your clutch been holding up with the spring removed?

It's been fine, no issues

Haven't driven it enough to know

Clutch/other issues because I did not. Would not recommend.
