I gotta say, that looks pretty sinister on that black! It doesn't look bad not molded in and with the rivets showing. I'm thinking he probably didn't get much gas at that station.

Yeah that car is really mean looking. I like the nonmolded look honestly. No cracking to worry about, can be taken off for repairs/modification.

So I finally got the final piece that needed to be replaced and the car is all cut up waiting for paint and install of the parts.

Hoping to have the car back by Thursday, Friday at the latest.

So the piece has been delivered to the body shop and I am just waiting for them to finish it up now. Stopped by the shop last night and took some photos, be on the look out for them this evening!

Now that ive seen the finished product I know its definitely not for me. I daily my car and I could foresee problems with being that wide. Im not really a fan of the way it looks either. I'd like it to be a little more subtle. But of course that is my opinion and not to be taken as an objective statement. The beauty of having a regular Mustang over say a Shelby, is you can modify them to make it your own without worrying about ruining a more limited production vehicle.

They still need to grind things nice and smooth and polish it up a bit but this is nearing the final look before the flares get prepped and painted.

First off, I just want to say WOW! Thanks for the front page feature! I am honored yet again to make the front page and have earned your attention.

I just want to clarify that the car in the video is not mine though, just incase there is any confusion.

Price for this overall build...so far?

Well the kit for just the fenders is priced just below $2k, and that includes 8-pieces (4 x front and 4 x rear). The pricing on the paint and body work is going to change depending where you go, what color you are doing, and whether or not you are just painting the fenders or doing a full respray of the car. I am just painting the fenders magnetic and let's just say that cost is north of $1k...well north haha.

What made you want to do a widebody kit ?

Well, I have always loved the look of the old school wide fender Datsun 260Z/280Zs. When my dad and I would see them at shows I would always get excited and go check them out. Since then, that passion has carried over into other cars and more recently, when I owned an FR-S it was my goal to be one of the first Rocket Bunny Wide Body cars. I missed the mark with that one due to a blown motor after a turbo kit install haha.

I won't miss the mark on this car. This is just the beginning.
