I got the very last front rotors in the entire country (the next batch is due to arrive in little over a month). Unfortunately upon unpacking the rotor, one side has this dent/nick on the corner. It looks like something made impact and dented it. I'm not sure if this is OK to use or I should return it. Returning it will most likely mean I need to wait a month.

Thanks

The only possible issue would if the surface of the dent stick a little higher than the face of the rotor. In this case just file it down. No big deal
And obviously its a complete non issue if the pad doesn’t even contact that part of the rotor

I’d not worry about it.

I like to disassemble things.
Quick check with a straight edge for a raised surface and give it some attention with a stone if you need to. Done.

Emery Cloth it and call it a day. Not an issue with braking.

I would recommend a fine file or flat stone across that spot. If you have a high spot, emery won,t touch it and will do more harm than good.

There’s no issue with that at all. Install it and go driving.
