Too heavy and when there are cars making 2,400-2,500hp on predator blocks, there is no need.

This^^^^ Why would I want to put another 150lbs over the nose of the car? If you go PD blower like a Whipple, you are already putting 150lbs added to the front of the car with the blower, pulleys, heat exchanger and associated fluid. There are aluminum blocked cars making 1500-2500hp without that weight penalty.

I would think at the 3000 plus level. But at that level Id want a solid billet aluminum block with steel sleeves.

Ah I see, Ford brought this to market but there is no need for this. They are so stupid. They should have totally asked you first!

Chill I'm just kidding. The folks that need this don't post on forums. They are making power and racing.

May be a reasonable option if you have a mid engine or rear engine coyote swapped car. Although wheelies may become a problem. Actually, I really dont know enough about extreme drag racing setups to comment. Maybe it would help keep the nose down on some setups?

What HP can a block like this take? If it can deal with 3000+ HP I suppose its probably a fine route that could have some advantages over other options

Yeah this obviously wouldn’t be for me or majority of people.

Just thought it would be interesting if anyone here actually was considering one of these if it was actually capable. For 1/4, 1/2, 1mi racing where you could just throw more boost with maybe more reliability. Seeing the PRP RB26 and Dart 2JZ cast iron blocks had me curious.
