Does anyone know how to track down who could have purchased my car or what happened after the dealer did the KBB buy back? I have confirmed that the dealer gave it to Kelley, but how do I track it down?

I still possess the original window sticker and owner's supplement and would like the chance to get it to the new owner. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

What is kbb buy back and why did the buy your car back if you don't mind me asking?

Go to KBB.com and click on the find my cars value button. Once you option out your car, click the "instant cash offer" link. It will then have you put some information in and you will receive an offer on your car from KBB.

THe process is that you take it to a participating dealership, which will be included in the offer(I had 3). Call them up, schedule a time and take the car in. They inspect to validate the condition is accurate, then cut you a check for your car.

I have heard that not all "participating" dealers will honor, but if they balk, call KBB and they will get involved and the dealer will come around. I ended up getting almost $58K for my car thru a Toyota Dealer.

So, I found that, but it isn't on their website. Called today and they told me they had Kelly pick it up 3 days after I dropped it off. Was hoping to find the actual dealer that it ended up at so I can have them send me the name of the person that purchases it.
