Both great cars! One of the best decisions I made was to keep my Porsche even after I bought my GT350. They are so different, and each so much fun in such very different ways! Enjoy!

Wow, that is a hell of a stable mate. Two very different philosophies going on there with the same goal in mind. Looks like fun!

Beautiful cars! Hey where did you post this image to get it to show up so clearly on the board? Mine never work or come out really small.

I also believe I have the best of both worlds, I just wanted to keep the Mustang family going. My C/O GT/PP is putting down 625 rwhp and is a straight line beast! Well we all know what the GT 350 TrackPack is!

This is mine. Two completely different driving experiences, but both are a lot of fun. Besides the width, the cars are quite close in dimensions:

1970 Mach 1 428CJ R-code, 4 speed:

L 187.4 w 71.3 h 51.3 wb 108

Curb weight 3638lbs

335 hp 440 ft lb / real hp likely 410+

2016 Shelby GT350R:

L 189.7 w 75.9 h 53.6 wb 107.1

Curb weight 3655lbs

526hp 429 ft lb

One big difference though is the Mach 1 gets much more attention than the R. Put them side by side somewhere and the R is really second fiddle for most people.

Calgaryshelby that could be the nicest combo of all! I really love my 15 SC'gt/350 combo but that is a beautiful combo of cars! Very nice

Congrats Mojo. Long road but she's finally home. Hope to see you around the island. Can't wait to hear it.

I almost snagged a GT4 at $84k sticker. Man, that is a heavenly pair.

edit: Does the GT4 have the lightweight buckets? CCB's?
