Searched by many names but drew a blank.

I am looking for the Ford PN for the plastic cover used to cover the radio slot on a base R. The high end cover with the big R.

Thanks for any info.

Been poking around and was told this is the PN. Can anyone verify this in Fords system? Thanks for any help. :headbang:

Tom, where did you take that picture of a "VP" chassis number for a 2015 GT350/GT350R as pretty cool IMO??!!

Based on my experience with the FMC no "VP" cars ever came with a VIN and very usual to see a chassis number with that prefix.

Awesome!

I found it once after digging...It's not just the little panel - it's the whole control panel. Since the no-electronics R has different options on that panel (fewer), I'm not sure if I'd want to do it. Would leave some connectors "hanging".

I just noticed.....do the base R's not have the auxiliary gauges above the center consul? I like the clean look of the base car, but those toggle switches are sure tasty.

That pic was just a shot I found on the net somewhere. Never noticed the chassis number until I posted it here. The plastic rectangular cover actually comes off as a separate piece. Whether they give it a separate PN is another question. I had them take it off at the Track Tour (which they accommodated) and it pried right off. Behind it, about an inch back, is a circuit board with a rectangular hole in it.

My sales guy gave me this number. Google only came up with complete units, not the cover. I want to mount an nGage there, once I verify the fitment. I prefer not to hack up the original cover.

Thanks

The base R drops both of those features sadly. Got push buttons instead. But those are lighter and add 5 hp. :lie:

It's 2017.. just have the original scanned, then 3d print a new one with the gauge hole designed into it. :)
