I came today to pick up my mustang and I did not end up taking her home . When I arrived everythin looked really good but BOtH HEADLIGhTS showed condensation which alerted me , I looked at the other mustangs in the dealer and none of them had that problem .
I advised my sales man and spoke to the manager said it will be fixed tomorrow.
Will they re seal the headlights? Will they replace both headlights? I am not sure but for a new car the headlights shouldn't show any condensation on the inside.
And yes it's being rainning here and there is humidity sometimes and then it's. Cold but we have that big storm coming up here in North Carolina but it still shouldn't be like that to my opinion.
Am I exagerating?

Anybody else having this issue?please help
Thank you
Oh and it's a 2016 gt

Yes I noticed it yesterday, I picked mine up in August, this week was the first rain since I got the car. I will be taking it in next time I see it.

It's normal. The headlights were designed with vents in them. It's in the manual that slight condensation is completely normal.

I had the Same Issue with my Mazdaspeed3 and It killed the light. In the case of my Light is was completely cloudy. If nothing less I will get it documented for future failure.

If it's a slight fog you're fine. A lot of HID light assemblies are vented. It will clear up very quickly. If it's actual standing water in the lense that's different.

So should I go ahead and take delivery? Not let them mess with it? I assume someone will know the design was vented headlights in their department ?
Thanks for all the responses so far

I've had my car for almost a year now and just noticed slight condensation in one headlight last night but it went away soon after I parked. Like others said I think it's normal with this car and has a vent. I had a BRZ that had tail light condensation constantly and it got to the point that there was water sloshing around in them. That's when you know it's bad. Had the tail lights replaced 3 times and it still did it. Just a poor design on those cars.

Yes, they will just end up sealing something designed to be vented.

Thanks all you. Guys.
So I bought it and haven't seen the condensation since. They didn't mess with it but we lol see if it comes back.

Perfectly normal....mine does it as well. Dealer checked in with ford shortly after I noticed it within the first week of owning. Burns off when light is on or dry days/hot days....it's vented not sealed...

I've had this issue since day one, Ford said it's normal unless I start seeing water pooling up in the headlight assembly.

I've had this usually during cold weather when the condensation inside the headlights would condense when the car is driven outside. My garage is warmer than outside.
