I was curious if anyone on here has had any experience with Akrapovic exhausts. I know they make high quality exhausts and tend to focus on more on euro cars but seeing as how this new mustang is going global and they did do a line for the 2005-2010 GTs I wouldn't be surprised to see them make an exhaust for the s550. So anyone with experience with this company let me know what you think of them.

I'm pretty sure they don't do cars but I'd love a Leo Vince exhaust to match my CBR :D

Yes but only axle back for the Mustang not really worth all that much extra money in my opinion. Maybe for my Aston Martin or SLS....I wish.
It looks like Hennesseyperformance.com has a exhaust setup from Akrapovic, however that may be pieced together with another brand. I can't tell for sure but Akrapovic is the only thing it names.

The Bimmer guys have a hard-on for Akrapovic products. There are more people on those forums that know the Akra brand name than those who could differentiate a catback versus an axleback.

They make great set ups for for bmw
So with proper r&d I'm sure they Can do wonders with the S550

Main question is, do we really need another exhaust brand for the Mustang?

Since when has competition been a bad thing? The more the merrier!
I'm all for competition. It's capitalism at its best And what makes this wonderful country the best place in the world. They want to make a set. God bless them. I highly doubt many Mustang owners will drop 3k in an exhaust system for the Mustang. I am not hating on their systems as i have on my bmw. I could be wrong since there was a day when hre and Mustang wouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence and we all have seen those amazing flow form wheels on the S550!

People do this all the time. A set of American Racing headers is between $1,500-1,700 plus a quality catback like Borla can be $1,100-1,300.

Is not the same Grim. Those 3k will be only for a catback...
