Almost all of us here understand how the Shelby allocation process works. Allocations are based off previous years sales. My small local hometown Ford dealer got only one allocation for 2016. That was the first car I bought.
2017 has been an entirely different story. Their first car was sold to a forum member and went up North. Their second allocation was my R model. (Long story short, I was "awarded" an R allocation in a Buy Back deal with Ford). We all assumed this would be the entire Shelby allocation for 2017.
Apparently, when Ford issued my R allocation, my dealer automatically got two more standard allocations! So they ended up with three standard GT350's (900A) and one GT350R (920A).
Now for the "Feel Good" part. Every single one of these cars was sold at MSRP or $100 under. Three cars stayed local to my small home town. Don't let this turn into another ADM thread, but there are still some dealers out there that don't believe in that fuckery.
Pic of actual dealership. They are a small town family owned dealer that has been in business since the 50's.
