Well, I misread the entire break-in thing. I thought it was nothing over 2000 rpm until 50000 miles. Dyslexia? My bad!
I just crossed 50K and I now I am excited about seeing if I will get any better performance with revs over 2K.
Does this VooDoo do anything after 2000 rpm's?
Maybe I should have...
Very nice... you won't need the radio.
You will spend your entire driving time with the windows down with the exhaust mode in Sport while you listen to the Ford Philharmonic 32-Valve Orchestra with Chewbacca Gargling on Lead Vocals.
Enjoy and welcome.
Two to three weeks of pollen discomfort to counteract:
1. Rust on cars
2. Months of grey skies during winter
3. Horrible roads
4. High taxes
5. Nice cars parking in garages for 4-5 months in the winter
6. Grey/black slop on the side of the roads (slush)
Tomster, or someone else on this forum with professional skills needs to get access to one of these... I would love to hear genuine feedback without external influences give us practical track thoughts as to how the car handles, and does it feel like a $300K investment which is worthy. We don't...
I had my factory resonators cut off at 1 week of original owner new ownership.
The GT350 resonators are quite small, and you can see the factory X-Pipe just in front of the resonators:
Resonator removal:
Equivalent diameter stainless pipe replacement:
Do this, and you have the factory...
Most Mach owners that I have met are easy to get along with... there will always be some who bash the GT350 for personal reasons.
This guy was one of the cool ones... we even swapped seats and drove each others cars:
There will always be a few Twat Waffles within the bunch to mess things...
OP, does your new to you GT350 still have the factory resonators?
Your car color is almost perfect... the paint and stripes are just reversed. 😉
Congrats...!!!!!!
Don't worry Hack... I'll save ya.
John, Yo Mach is so ugly, I could stick its face in dough and make Gorilla Cookies.
There... all is now right with the world again.
I agree Charlie... the condescending does seem to only go in one direction.
REAL-TIME DISCLAIMER
As you read this, multiple forum readers are scouring past posts to find condescending remarks going the other direction in order to reply with the Big GOTTCHA in order to get accolades...
I respect your opinion… if we all had the same desires in cars, we would all be driving a 2019 Ford Performance Blue GT350 with white stripes, and boy would we look good…!!!
I went to inquire about a GT4 RS and Jim Ellis Porsche told me that unless you have spent multiple six figures at the dealership, you would not get on the waiting list for a GT4 RS.
Great car, but unobtainable goal for most.
If I had a GT4, I think my preferences may change and I may be saying Ford-Schmord.
The GT4 is probably well beyond the GT350 in my un-experienced opinion.
I would love some seat time in a GT4.
I own a Cayman (best handling Porsche according to some) and I can attest that the GT350 is more fun to drive and the handling is comparable with the Sport Cup 2’s. The exhaust is what tips the scales…. Porscha - Smorscha…!!!
Fit & finish is better from Stuttgart, but overall thrill in driving...
