Hey all, so i just purchased my first 2021 mustang gt premium and i had 2 questions
1. it came with factory 18x8 wheels and i bought oem 19x9+45 and 19x9.5+52.5 wheels, are they going to work? will it cause any problem or damage to the car? will it cause any issues with the fender?
2. what is the ideal size tire i should use for that wheel

They will work just fine. Stock tire sizes that come on those wheels are 255/40 and 275/40. Those are good sizes for those wheels so I’d stick with those sizes

would 265/40/19 work or no for the rear?

Depends on the tire but for most tires it would work. Although with the power of these cars, I’d prefer 275 over 265 even though there’s not much of a tread width difference between the two. Just my preference though

On the oem performance pack wheels from the factory ford does 19x9 255/40/19, 19x9.5 275/40/19 Michelins. The car in the picture looks lowered, you shouldn't have any issues with rubbing

Is there any difference between the performance pack and the normal gt fastback? Or just different size wheel and tire?

There are numerous differences beyond wheel+tire, but nothing which is going to cause any wheel or tire fit issues in your case.

Go for it.

There are other differences but none regarding to the way the wheels fit on the car. You should have no problem fitting those wheel and tire sizes on you normal gt.

New TPMS sensors are not expensive, just have a new set installed with your new tires. Sure you can reuse your old sensors, but then you have to pay to have your old tires removed from the old wheels just to extract the sensors, and hope none are damaged during removal. Plus some tire shops will not reuse old or used sensors anyway. I think I paid about a buck 50 for a new set of OEM sensors for my second set of wheels for my explorer.

Here is what I bought, price has gone up a little

Go with factory OEM PP size. 255/40/19 and 275/40/19. Yes you can swap out the TPS sensors.

If you want a 'square' set up go for 275/40-19 tyres front and rear on 9.5J rims. Works fine on mine, lowered on Eibach springs, 20 offset flush with fenders, no rubbing whatsoever. This allows for a full size spare in the trunk

I have the PP1 wheels. 19x9 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. I run 275/35/19 all around. I’m lowered and still no rubbing.
