Should I do any maintenance on the convertible top hinges etc

Agreed again that burgundy/red with the black roof is a great color combo

I had an older 2002 Mercedes Convertible a few years ago and loved the ride but it was impossible to fix anything and it had issues all the time. Debated an Audi but when I looked at the most expensive cars to own Mercedes BMW and Audi were all on top in a bad way

I use silicone spray
Had ver ts since 89
A heads up don't put top down if it's dirty.itll rub the dirt into the fabric

I don't think any hinge maint required but I use bike chain wax lube., wipe areas I can access and blow it out. I do drive on gravel and dirt roads with top down though.

If you take off the interior rear side panel you'll see the impressive mechanism which seems to keep clean even in my use.

It's called raggtopp.my car is kept on garage so I do it every 3 months

I just use raggtop because others say it works. Definitely improves the blackness of the top, as well as color uniformity.
