Shadow Black / Absolute Black = Same Color?

2021 Mach 1 Shadow Black. Looking at some parts listed as Absolute Black from a GT350. Are these going to be the same color? Lots of places on line and different forums (F150, Focus, etc) say they are and that ford just names them differently but that they have the same paint code. Can anyone confirm or deny with certainty for a model year 2021? If they are different, what is the difference such as a pearl or a flake added, etc? Thanks. A clear side by side photo of the 2 would probably be asking too much>>>????? Thanks

If they have the same paint code then yes they are the same color with different names.

For example, in the US, Grabber Yellow in 2021 is paint code CB but is known as Yellow Peel in Australia. Different names, same color.

If the paint is truly different, it will have a different paint code.

2010-2017 Grabber Blue is paint code CI. This is the flat glossy version.

When Ford added metallic flake to the color say for example on the 2023 or 2024 cars, Grabber Blue Metallic paint code was AE.

Shadow has a fleck in it (even though some claim they can’t see it)

Shadow is like a black pearl. You can you ask auto body paint store for formula for both and see where the differences are...just for fun.

Both have the same G1 paint code. CJ Ponycars has this graphic on their website.

There is also Ebony Black, paint code UA. That was a 2015 color only I believe
