Non Skinny "drag pack"??

Yes, there's a thread currently up with basically the same question. However, it has been resolved and I still have questions haha. Here's how my question differs slightly. I'm interested in the VMS V Star wheels. Original, I know. What I'm not a huge fan of are the skinny front wheels. I've tried coming around to it just can't. so I'm interested in a wider front tire. Is something like a 18x9.5 in the front, 18x10 in the rear doable? I still don't understand why a larger but skinnier wheel tends to be up front vs a smaller but wider wheel out back? Anyway, VMS offers a 18.9.5 40 offset fitting non Brembo brake cars. Sadly I have Brembo's. All helps, thanks for reading.

Apex wheels fit Brembos at 18 inches.

Yes, that's the thread I was mentioning. Not really wanting to go with the wheels OP went with. Seeing if anyone else had any recommendations. Guess I should note id like the same wheels up front as the rears too.

Thanks. Checked out Apex. a bit $$$. Currently saving for a ESS kit hence the need for a drag pack. I may have to cave for skinnies after all

only question that remains really is which clear my BREMBO set up? Additionally, in my head, small wheels go up front like the 15x8's and something larger like the 18x10 in the rear. However, all drag packs do the opposite. wats the reason for that and would that 15x8/18x10 set up be odd paired with 275/305 combo?

Just a heads up the 18x10 forgedtar d5 up front did not fit. I had to go 18x9 or 18x9.5
