Good afternoon. Currently the car is on jack stands in my driveway. Never ran into this issue before with a transmission fluid change.
I cracked open the fill/drain plugs and maybe .75 of a quart came out. I thought hmm that's strange. Was it really that low? So I put the drain plug back in and began to fill it. It started coming out around about half a quart. This can't be right.
So I thought maybe the angle of the car was causing the issue. (Right now it's nose up, which I thought would be good for this oil change) So for shits n giggles I lowered it back down, so it's nose down. No more oil came out.
I ran the gear shifter through a few paces just for the hell of it. Still nothing. Anybody run into this before?

Raise the front driver side up and see if any comes out.

Original owner of the car?

How are you filling it? Hand pump with a hose? Make sure the hose is pushed into the trans an inch or two. If you just hang it near the edge, the oil is just going to hit the gears and puke back out.

I got it guys. I raised the front up a bit more and the rest came out. When I was filling it also, I don't think I had that hose jammed in there far enough.
It spit out about 3 quarts and took the same. All is well.
Appreciate the quick responses.

Just changed mine. Instructions say it hold 2.7 liters. Drive and warm up transmission if you can. Change it it when car it level.

I was unable to start the car and drive it due to baby sleeping lol... Its Florida and was 90 outside, the oil was pretty warm even cold. Seems like it all came out to me.
