Checked with our State Farm agent today and she informed us the '15 Mustang GT moved up only one notch in State Farm's safety ratings despite it's several new safety upgrades. The new GT will be used mostly by my wife as it will be taking the place of her '13 GS350 F Sport... as a comp her Lexus which cost about $18k more than the new stang is cheaper to insure by a few hundred per year.

How is everyone else faring?
State farm is one of the most expensive insurance companies there are...

Farmers wanted 3300$ a year to insure my bike, state farm did it at 24$ a month (but it has gone up 10$ in 4 years) and saved me 500$ a year on my house insurance.

What companies should I seriously consider for my house/cars/bike insurance?
And none of that esurance crap...

I currently drive a 2007 fusion and for a GT premium I'm only paying $40 more per month through USAA.

Every time one of these insurance threads come up, it always makes me want to move out of Michigan.

Age and credit ratings is a factor too so keep in mind everytime you dp this will check your credit, to keep to a minimum, its best to use the sites that compare multiple qutes versus individual ones

I think when I checked my rate was only going up like $30-$40 every 6 months over my 08 Lexus IS250 that it will replace. That $200+ a month figure is nuts. We have 3 cars and some other things on our policy and it's still way under that.
