Agreed, you know another option I'm considering is holding off and not buying anything. I feel the new car market is going to have a major correction downward.

Buy the Torsen twice? With the PP you get the Torsen, you can still switch out the gears and keep the stock Torsen. Maybe I misunderstood Toronaga-sama!

The cost of the gear swap is basically the same as buying another Torsen. No, you're not literally buying another one...

In any event I'm sure you'll like your car(s). A red BMW though? That's gotta be damn rare.

Fortunately the current choice with the M2 is very limited colors that are offered the Toronto Red is my favorite

Where can you get a torsen with the 409s already installed point me the way. I have a local guy here in Los Angeles to install my 409 gears everything for $1200.

Make sure he's done a few. Seems the install requires a degree of "knack". Steeda builds them all the time for their race cars, and will build you one from all new pumpkin but you won't save money vs that quote.

Not the MSRP, but you can get under that. I got $1200 off the M2 already.

That is too funny!
I have to show this to my wife.
It’s the only reason she won’t let me buy it.
She says it’s hideous and doesn’t want it in our garage!
It’s grown on me a little because I keep trying to like it.
Other than exhaust and looks, it’s such and awesome car!

I just picked up the M2 guys. The Mustang got pushed all the way back until a 26 August build. In fact my dealer told me if it gets pushed back even more they will have to cancel it and it will be a 2025 order. My M2 arrived yesterday and I picked it up. Ford made the decision for me. Just an FYI the M2 is awesome!! I will post up a few pics in a bit. I promise not to saturate it as I don't want to trigger a few of you here.

I would love to hear your comparison review.
I found the visceral feel of the M2 to be missing what the V8 gives. Also the torque was missing imo

What kills me the S650 was supposed to be built on 3 June. I ordered the M2 the same time, the M2 came a month early! They told me 5 August. Anyway here it is before I start to bugger it. What is rough is only 5k rpm for the runin for the first 1200 miles. I have 15mm spacers and a set of Eibach Springs ready to go on. I forgot how silky smooth BMW I6 motors are. The car is a little dirty. Short wheelbase with 275 tires up front and 285s out back.
