Wait until you're corner balanced.... I mean 60%/40%, WOW, that's impressively bad LOL. Did you get any photos lifting the drivers front wheel?
ha - unfortunately not. I bet it was definitely lifting the front through the carousel. It was also spinning the right rear on right turns pretty frequently. It sure explains some weird behavior

Yeah definitely one of the most successful first time out tests ever, well done. Did you mention it was 96F and COTA is notoriously tough on cars. 👍🏼

And there’s me driving home. 🙂

Brutal weekend on the drivers. The car definitely dealt with the heat better than I did ha!

Speaking of 96 degree temps - check out my datalog. Cooling system appears to be working great. The "Coolant temp" is actual water temp measured on the hot side of the radiator. "EngineCoolantTemp" is actually the infrared cylinder head temp sensor. So water temp was running 170-180 degrees and CHTs were peaking at 231. Pretty wild

For reference, what was your previous best? Car looks and sounds incredible!
Best ever at COTA in the mustang is a 2:21 flat and I ran a 2:26 in the third session - but never pushed or linked together more than a couple corners. it's going to be quick once we get it dialed in and I get comfortable. My goal is a 2:15 before end of year.

Here's a good indicator of how fast this car is going to be. Here's my apex speed at T2 on my best lap. 96mph

Same spot on the first time I pushed it through there - 105mph.

it's going to be an absolute riot
