Same day with same phone, just different sunlight. Just purchased the car used a couple days ago and spent a nice day driving around in the rural area of Va as the colors change on the trees.

This is an European model.........for some reason Ford didn't see fit to build a 55th Anniversary Edition, but we're getting this Mustang "55 Years" Edition in Europe. It comes with black "50th Anniversary" wheels, a black pony on the nose, black hood stripes, black rocker stripes, black rear spoiler and a black roof. I've not seen interior shots yet, but its supposed to have leather an alcantara seats (so a bit like the Cali Special).

I think in Australia, if you buy the shadow pack for an extra 1000, you get the painted roof, little stripes and different wheels etc.
I like the black roof but personally I’m not big on the little faded stripes on the side and on the bonnet.

Yeah, I think it was only the UK that called it the 55 Edition, elsewhere it was either the Shadow Edition or Black Pack.

We did have a similar package called Shadow Edition for last two model years of the pre-facelift car.

But the 55 Edition was a one-year-only package (makes sense, obviously as it was celebrating 55 years of Mustang) and we haven't seen a return of Shadow Edition in any shape or form.......for the '22MY we get just the GT (auto only) although there will be a few, and I mean a few, Mach 1s but those can't be customer ordered, the Mach 1s are dealer specced :(

personally i think the added black makes it look outstanding! it sets it off more than just with the silver? striping....
any other thoughts to adding this striping combo anywhere else?

Thanks. I removed the Silver and agree that Black provides more contrast. I am not getting black wheels though and wonder about how that may conflict with black graphics. The silver was peeling, should have cut them just short of the panels end instead of trying to fold them around. I may try a different kit in the Spring.

Put on some 20” OEM wheels today bought locally. I searched and could only find a couple Grabber Lime S550’s with the optional 20” wheels. Seems to fill in the wheel openings a little better. Still have the Steeda Minimum Drop springs sitting on the shelf to install.

Lol. I did not see myself owning a color like this but have come to really like it and get lots of compliments. I am more of a Ruby Red or Velocity Blue with all the gloss metallic shine but it surprised me.

Well if we trust the evidence we have on Fords usage of the colour and use it to attempt to predict a pattern, the S650 is going to have to have one hell of a long production run …
