You guys ever buy the cans of gas (100, E85, or just whatever) from VP or Sunoco?

No good E85 in my area, so thought about a 55 gal drum every now and then.

Being that regular 10% ethanol blended fuel has a shelf life of 3-4 months, how long would E85 last? If it's the same or less, you better use that fuel quickly.

Vp fuels says u can store their fuel in a cool dark place for up to two years in their container. I keep about 5-6, 5 gallon pails around the garage at all times n no issues

I would need 3 55 gallon drums to get through a track weekend. Not a cheap option, considering the performance gain without a tune is not really significant.

I have used the race gas at the track, and it ran about $11 a gallon cash. Some performance increase, but not really worth it to me.

Eeehhh, guess it’s a personal choice to see if it’s worth it or not. E85 in the 55 gal works out to just over $8 a gal. That’s pricey. But I’m sure it’s good gas. I might splurge once just to get the tube set up good.
