there's numerous other factors that come into play. But as long as yer happy !Now that I’ve been driving my car around for a couple days and really getting into it on open roads and the highway there is definitely an increase in torque and horsepower, as for one post saying that you wouldn’t able to feel an 18 hp increase, I beg to differ, if you know and understand the feel of your vehicle you will notice that difference,
just saying
What other factors besides the dyno?there's numerous other factors that come into play. But as long as yer happy !
They shouldn't change at all as the car should just see more air and add the fuel appropriately.I like to see what fuel trims are doing if you’re modifying the airflow enough to gain 18whp…
Ford would never give out inaccurate horsepower,i.e. 03-04 Cobra. Tony had 18 rwhp on his dyno and LMR had 14 rwhp.I removed mine on day 1. So I never got to compare to the stock hydrocrap. But 18WHP seems excessive just for that, well I call it 480hp to the crank just like the 2021 Mach 1 instead of the 470hp.
So either the Dyno done by that youtuber was inaccurate OR the 2021 Mach 1 had more than the advertised 480hp?
That seems way high for just removing the trap.
The 2021 Mach 1 was advertised with a HP of 480. The 2022 Mach 1: 470.I like to see what fuel trims are doing if you’re modifying the airflow enough to gain 18whp…
But most cold air intakes require a tune right? They shouldn't change at all as the car should just see more air and add the fuel appropriately.
