I moved on a long time ago, Dude, and don't send PMs to those that can't check their ego at the login prompt. Go ahead and weld your collector, you got this. Just keep YouTube and Google on speed dial, you'll be just fine.@RAVAGE88
Still no PM's from the expert. I'd like to know how to improve this collector before I weld it together.
It took a lot of years to gain the knowledge I have. When someone claims to know more I'm open to learning. You claim to know more about headers. I would have liked to hear your thoughts.Have a great Friday....
Bernoulli’s PrincipleGot the collector finished, I'm old and on slow time LOL, anyway it works perfect. I can blow air through one tube and all tubes are sucking air.
I'll put up a photo when it is finished and looks good.
Did you determine that no cone in the collector would be necessary?Got the collector finished, I'm old and on slow time LOL, anyway it works perfect. I can blow air through one tube and all tubes are sucking air.

I don't have enough room to make a true venturi and it may be against the rules. I'm supposed to use a "supplied" collector.Did you determine that no cone in the collector would be necessary?
Weld and grind, weld and grind until they look smooth and hit them with some high temp paint or wrap and you’ll be good.I don't have enough room to make a true venturi and it may be against the rules. I'm supposed to use a "supplied" collector.
I ran a conical reducer from the too big 3 inch to a 2 inch. I'm not going for perfect just functional.
What I have learned is I cannot weld anymore. I can't see the puddle due to the arc. This is using a 13 glass.
