equal length.. ideal, but only if you have the room for it. that's why i like tri-y, very easy to get the primaries equal length.

Almost got it, won't be perfect but will work 100% better than what I started with.

@RAVAGE88

Still no PM's from the expert. I'd like to know how to improve this collector before I weld it together.

I moved on a long time ago, Dude, and don't send PMs to those that can't check their ego at the login prompt. Go ahead and weld your collector, you got this. :like: Just keep YouTube and Google on speed dial, you'll be just fine.

Have a great Friday....
It took a lot of years to gain the knowledge I have. When someone claims to know more I'm open to learning. You claim to know more about headers. I would have liked to hear your thoughts.

As we say in the south, Bless your heart and have a nice weekend.

Got the collector finished, I'm old and on slow time LOL, anyway it works perfect. I can blow air through one tube and all tubes are sucking air.

I'll put up a photo when it is finished and looks good.

Did you determine that no cone in the collector would be necessary?

I don't have enough room to make a true venturi and it may be against the rules. I'm supposed to use a "supplied" collector.

I ran a conical reducer from the too big 3 inch to a 2 inch. I'm not going for perfect just functional.

What I have learned is I cannot weld anymore. I can't see the puddle due to the arc. This is using a 13 glass.

Weld and grind, weld and grind until they look smooth and hit them with some high temp paint or wrap and you’ll be good.

@K4fxd I outlined how to build a proper collector earlier in this thread.
