I'd replace those injectors on those problem cylinders as well. Any time an ECU driver or circuit gets fried I'd suspect an issue with what that was controlling. Two injectors are cheap and worth the peace of mind imo

Thanks for the comment - will keep that in mind. I have understood that if the fuel injector or coil fails or has problems it can result in ECU failure short circuiting. But my mechanic removed and flow checked all injectors and removed and checked all spark plugs and coils and found all of that to be in perfect condition. That is what led him to check the signals from the ECU to the various parts of the engine and found those minor or trim signals to be faulty.
