Pretty much moving forward in 1st gear and then engaging the clutch faster than normal. It doesn't make that sound if you engage the clutch very slowly.

I didn't think so, it's meant to make pretty much no noise right like any other manual transmission? I can see I'm going to be fighting with ford so much fun. Thanks for the help.

Hi All, sorry if there has been a topic created for this already. I would like to know if it is normal for S550 gear box to make a very loud like knocking sound when engaging the clutch. I have a video clip of the sound if I could upload it?

I wish it was cheaper, there are heavy import taxes etc on new cars. I'm trying to find out exactly how much. i already have the automatic so i'm just trying to see which is the cheaper option. Thanks for the information though :D

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but does anyone know the effort to convert the GT from Automatic to Manual? All the mustangs arriving in my country are automatics.
