Pretty close eh? The weight difference makes all the difference between these two cars.

That's a legitimate super-car by any measure.

Given the past iterations of gt500, I'm not really holding out hope. I'm not even sure a GT4 mustang can compete with the new corvette.

True but an aggressive tranny can make up for it. If an A10 460 HP 5.0 can run into the 11's.. I don't think the GT500 will have a problem getting up there if it has over 750 horses.

Trinity with an M6 runs around 11.6 with only 662 HP.. If i was a betting man, i would say the GT500 will be at least a 10.9 in the 1/4. Def give a big spanking to the ZL1's 11.5.

I think we need to focus on ZL1 and ZL1 1LE vs GT500! Corvette and especially the ZR1 is on another dimension. I am happy if GT500 can best the 10 speed ZL1 in the quarter mile and ZL1 1LE around the corners. The only concern is the GT500 pricing. If you are going to pay 80 grand for it, then you may also want to consider a ZO6 vette, unless you really really need the unusable back seat!

Well Ford is claiming venom kills demons. If that’s the case. It should also kill Corvettes. I like to take a wait and see approach to these things. Hard to beat the Camaro for the price. It should do,everything a hellcat can do plus turn for the same money.

I'm sure the new ZR1 will dip into the very low 10's, if not high 9's over time.

I ran 11.2 backed up by an 11.3 in my trinity show room stock on the first two passes in 1500 DA

Manual C7Z has already done 10's stock. The A8 has achieved 10.5 I believe. This is in the hands of owners. (insert hero runs)

The new ZR1 has ran 10.6 claimed by GM. You will see a hero run probably run a 10.0 or maybe even a 9.99.

That's on the ZTK track pack. The "base" non aero package is what they used for the acceleration testing and those tires are MPSS

I know it's a Dodge, but why doesn't anyone mention the fastest 0-60 production car (2.3 sec), fastest 1/4 mile production car (9.65 sec), and the only production car that will actually pull the front wheels off the ground?
