ZL1 Addons Deluxe Rock Guard Customer Service

Hello all,

I installed my rock guards for my mustang roughly 2-3 months ago. Last night the mudflap detached from the VHB attached to my wheel well, leaving the tape attached to my vehicle but not the rock guard.

Surely this is a defect from the production of the item and ZL1 should replace my rockguard, but has anyone experienced this problem and dealt with ZL1?

I have already submitted a ticket to their website. Awaiting response.

I am going to take mine off and scuff them where the tape goes. Then apply new 3m tape.

Maybe they will return them for the plain old cheap ones that are thinner and pull on the tape less.

The plain old cheap ones are working great for me. Installed the fronts last summer. And all good so far.
