I noticed that too. They could've at least removed the whole thing lol.Bahahaha ok so I am not the only detailed oriented person to sit here and see that sitting out like a sore thumb lol.
I do not like the tail lights at all but get it for the overall design the deck lid and spoiler are fantastic the rest flows well and looks better colored like this
That was my first thought too. All that work and they don't take an extra 15 minutes to remove the other half of the sound tube? Makes no sense.http://www.motortrend.com/news/half...zero-to-60-designs-ford-mustang-gtt-engine-02
Why the hell did they cut the sound tube off halfway down instead of removing the whole damn thing?
If only there was more painted plastic surfaces.
It was probably easier and quicker to do all the sheet metal mods than to remove that gonzabis! That was my first thought too. All that work and they don't take an extra 15 minutes to remove the other half of the sound tube? Makes no sense.
If ford made a 3.5 ecoboost mustang as their halo car, I'd buy it as long as it handled and braked as well or better than the GT350/R and they made it even lighter. I'm a V8 guy and I love the sound of a V8, especially my voodoo. But I never base a cars looks, speed or performance from the size or sound of the engine. Hell, even if a V8 made less hp than the voodoo but the car was faster and handled better then a gt350 I'd still buy it. We need a Jenny Craig diet mustang, not necessarily more hp. Imagine a 3000-3200 pound gt350.Was I the only one hopping for a 3.5L twin turbo set up?
After you remove the nut on the firewall! It is easier if you remove the strut tower brace and a few other things. Special tools or extensions work. Unfortunately, I tried to do it with a tiny wrench and everything in place. Never do that again, 'cause I put the plug in the firewall for all time. Do it right.Come on now, the tube is super easy to remove. Unbolt from the intake and filter and then twist it up over the intake manifold and it pops right off the firewall.
