yes, did the windshield a little lighter but enough so the sun isn't blazing in the summer and heat's up your car.

I've always wanted to try installing my own PPF - can you buy this online somewhere? Any hook-ups that would sell me some bulk?

a full wrap of the entire car will run 5k. so if you do half the car it would be 2.5k etc...

variables are materials and if you package other work and type of wrap.

window tint will run 250 to 500 depending on type of film.

I went Crystalline as well.. shop I went to didnt have anything higher than 50 for the windshield.. so after much thought I went with it (I did 70 on the windshield on my previous car)

In daylight it looks perfectly fine.. in the evening or cloudy days its more noticeable.

thanks, didn't want to steal the OP's thunder. I had 70 on the windshield of my Honda Accord because I was in Texas through the summer, Crystalline does an amazing job of keeping the interior cool when driving or sitting out in the sun, I highly recommend it.

My GT350 is garaged all of the time and I only pull it out on sunny days so it is perfect w/ 50.

Any high end tint will do a good job of keeping the heat out. I went once without doing the windshield, regretted it, and made sure to put it on my just-sold car. It's a must-have, but illegal where I am.

Do take more pictures of your car though. Just when I thought black was out of the running, your pictures brought it right back to the top. If you have a high-res photo of your car(or of the one on the left that you posted), I would love to make it my wallpaper.
