Xpel has released new PPF clear bra in the last 2 weeks much better that before, now as good as Suntek PPF if not better roll batch numbers starts after 4111000 so if going to do it wait for the new stuff being using new stuff for 2 weeks now and wow.

How is it better? Optical clarity? Less orange peel?

I have XPEL on my XC90 and it's fine for a daily driver. For a car that I want to look amazing all the time, I think it's insufficient as the orange peel is substantial.

My detailer recommends ClearGuard Nano SR. I saw it side-by-side with XPEL; the ClearGuard had much less orange peel and was much better at resisting staining from a permanent marker.

It is very clear and no orange peel and we did a 911 black and 911 grey and amazing finish it is like I put CQuarts on it and a very smooth finish.

I never noticed any issue but I have only used Xpel Ultimate film on all my vehicles. What Xpel film line are you referring to?

I did my C63 AMG last year and it was and still is perfect. I never had an issue with the film itself. I am getting ready to have the GT350 done along with their new IR window tint. I have mine done at the Corporate office in San Antonio. Very good folks.

haven't noticed orange peel on mine or my buddies xpel ultimate, both were done around APRIL-MAY.

No only when I ordered the new stock for the week and US installers may have got it 1st I'm sure but my lot numbers 2 weeks ago were plus 38 and now plus 41.

I checked the older rolls and looks a little off white and the new rolls are clear so I know the difference and the application is way better and just the touch and feel is great it's like Suntek to the touch.
