Has anyone wrapped their front splitter or rockers in gloss vinyl? Im going to do my roof soon and would like to do all the textured plastic gloss black as well. I like the idea of vinyl rather than paint because its obviously a high impact area

This is actually a good place for wrap imo. The plastic on there likes to absorb wax and sealant and immediately fade white. A vinyl could prohibit that and make it look a little better. I hate the texture of that plastic. Its like the stuff they used for dash boards in the 90s.

Unless I'm mistaken, but I don't think the textured plastic will hold on to the vinyl wrap very well.

that was my main concern. It seems like a really fine texture so i thought it might be okay

The plastic is a low surface energy plastic. It's difficult for vinyl to adhere to it.
