Window Stickers

Most of the window sticker links have been removed or rendered inoperative by Ford. However, I've still had success with the http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin= link, obviously adding the proper VIN at the end of the URL.

Typically, the sticker is only available about a week prior to build (one day after the Invoice Date has been posted in the system to be precise), with a generic message "Please check back later" if the sticker is not yet available.

However, with my VIN, I'm getting the message "Access to this window sticker has been restricted on this site." My invoice was posted on the 15th, and my build date is the 25th. I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this message on their VINs.

Mine is working fine using the link and my VIN; the invoice posted 01/15 and my build date is 01/22.

Don't think there's any way to get the chassis number from the information on the sticker. I just wish I could see my damn sticker at all!!! :frusty:

Ill tell you what, its not all that its cracked up to be. You are going to go look at it at least 3-4 times a day, perhaps print out a few copies, and then stare and oogle at it, hoping to find some extra tid bit of info or a slight change.

Well it just stays the same and its excruciating. :headbonk:

No, chassis # may be way off from vin. They are issued as chassis come down line, next gt350, next and so on. Ex my vin was 20649, chassis 3# 0387

I discovered a way to make the dealer name appear at the bottom left corner which is normally blocked by pdf.. looks blank online, i make it reappear

I wont divulge how many other random window stickers I looked at and/or compared mine to.
