Sally still impresses the shit out of me. These cars are so good from the factory. The driver is getting slightly better.
A few notes on the facility, yes, still under construction but this track will become very popular. Very fast, very busy, and no one has really figured it out yet. Nothing like driving towards the sky over a blind crest into a corner
A note about how much faster these cars are over the S197's: A friend who also instructs has a modified (suspension and brakes) S197 runs 1:49's on R1's. On street tires the best he could do was 2:05. I ran a 2:01 in my 2nd event ever. I do not have the grapes to run the straightaway all out because big walls and it's not straight. Most of the guys running prepped Mustangs lift like I do because they all said that it gets very sketchy when you come through there.
My car has atleast a 1:57 in it as delivered once the driver learns how to drive.
