Yeah well, that kind of sucks but I hope lethal is just adding some padding to the shipping time I was just told this past Thursday mine should ship on May 14th but I guess we will find out.

It is what it is. I would rather have them take their time and send us kits with the high quality their known for, than receive a kit with problems.

True talk.To be honest not in that much of hurry . My tech will be installing the gen 3 on the GT 350 in the next week or so . He will be doing the OPG /CS combo at the time .That should give him an idea about doing the same on the 18 since they have similar or the same oil pump/ pan combo .

Still debating whether the warranty is worth it ? Does "test and tune " count as "competitive" use ?

Test and tune is considered as preparation for racing or competitive use. :thumbdown:

Lund is installing the Gen5 3.0 on their 2018 car as we speak... things will be getting exciting soon for the '18 guys!

I've been told by my shopt that the Whipple won't ship for another 2-3 weeks. Which is fine by me, just hope it doesn't keep getting pushed back and back. Regarding the warranty, I've decided not to get it on my 2018. Main reason is it only gives $5,000 in coverage and it seems they left a good amount of grey area in the wording. Not worth it to me.

I'm currently waiting as well for mine, I'm worried since I see all these threads with the valve issues, mine is a 8/17 build with a 11/17 build engine. to many grey spots in the wording for me to buy it.
