Be careful here. P-dip would probably be considered 'defacing'. This is NJ's information, but other states in the Northeast that use this probably follow something similar.

Plasti Dip peels right off if needed :headbang:

You could get a piece of the cling type window tint (comes in a roll at Wal-Mart), apply a small piece of it to your windshield, and the stick your pass on the tint. That way the tint subdues the ugly white pass (or whatever color yours are) when viewed from the outside.

Holy Crap - Scratches are considered defacing? That list is crazy - drop the thing once and you could be on the hook for a "defacing" penalty!

I kept mine laid down on the coin tray last year, fits nicely there. I plan to plasti dip it black and put it on the back side of the rear view mirror so I'll never see it again.

You’re not wrong. I also mount my I-Pass just to the right of the rear view mirror so it’s clear for the tollway booths to scan and also hidden from blocking my line of sight.

Who are you paying going from NYC to NJ? They only collect tolls when leaving NJ and its only $10.50 with the E-ZPass. We always joke its their way of trying to prevent people from fleeing the state :D

I don't go to NYC often but every time I have the toll is always $15 according to the signs. Holland tunnel, outerbridge crossing, and Verrazano bridge.

Florida is a sticker option and the suction cup thing. I just bought the sticker (4 bucks) and stick in the driver side corner of the windshield near the dash. done n done.

I wonder how many times EZ Pass boxes have been used to listen/record conversations?
Monitor and record driving habits?
Record destinations?
I bet GPS is built into them.

Thats the cash price, you get a discount for using E-ZPass.

Take it apart and see what's inside... but I highly doubt it. The most they can do is time you from one toll to another to see what your average speed was. But they don't ticket you for it otherwise nobody would use the service.

Oh, good. I didn't know that. But still... $10 to go over a bridge? I hate this area lol
