I cannot speak to pricing, but in this market, anyone buying is on the wrong end of the trade. If at all possible, I'd park any $ in a Money Market account and wait. The economy is expected to soften as soon as Summer/Fall; this could afford you better pricing and more opportunities. If interest rates are a concern, it's believed we're close to peaking, if not already at peak.
Im a check writer for this kind of thing. You are right though, prices are ridic for anything right now

I wonder if it will sell at that price.

FWIW, I bought my 2018 PP2 new in May 2018 for $38,750, MSRP was $47,080 (301A, Active Exhaust, Cloth Recaros). It’s currently got 21,800 miles. Last summer the same dealer I bought it from offered me $39,000 for it when I was having it serviced (would have had about 20,000 miles). I believe prices have come down a little since then, but it’s still pretty crazy. Honestly, I still wouldn’t take $39K for it today.

I wouldn’t buy a PP1/2 unless I was a road course racer. Most of the upgrades do nothing for the car as a street car over a standard GT.

I have 4 PP2s and love them dearly. More rare than any other S550 and IMO one of the best looking. They have come up in price lately. Seeing the s650 makes me think the S550 in any trim will continue to hold value.

Base GTs are going for $32 so if that’s your number, I’d move on from considering a PP2

You obviously don’t enjoy taking 270 degree off ramps at twice the posted speed.
Damn right I don’t. I like to keep the car upright and not having to call a wrecker by fucking around that hard around corners on public roads.

that's the thing, this beast feels like it's on rails. Best handling mustang produced outside of mach/shelby
My 16 was a pp1 modded suspension and was excellent. I love the digital dash and magnetize, just not sure enough to pay the price

The 18+ like the 3.73s with the longer legged transmission .

you won't find anything close to it. I just saw someone selling 2022 mach 1 handling with 3k miles for 70k. Prices of new cars going way up

How do you say "I've never driven a car with MagneRide" without saying "I've never driven a car with MagneRide" ?

I would say keep looking. I was going to sell my car but based on the current market I just decided to keep it and pay it off and buy something in a year or so. Not many PP2’s out there.

Most likely, and based on todays current market I may buy a BMW 550, its a lot of car for the money and used low miles can be had in the realm of a mustang.... Which is an odd statement, well up until about 3 yrs ago or so lol
